Yup, we have movies in Panama. In fact, unlike the backwoods of Guatemala or Honduras, we actually get new releases only a few weeks after they hit the big screen in the US. There are a number of theaters to choose from, but the best ones are at the malls: Allbrook, Multiplaza, and MutliCentro. My favorite ones are the VIP Extreme Theaters on Ave Balboa next to the Hardrock cafe. $3.00 for a matinee, serving food and beer (the quesadillas are off the chain), and stadium style, reclining seats. A nice respite from the heat
