A word from Bomboneros

Bomoneros is the strip club in Panama that you would go to if you want to make sure that you are the only gringo in the place. It is also by far the cheapest. Not shady by any means, just a bit off the beaten path. Ask any taxi driver to take you there- it is in the San Miguelito area- and he’ll gladly do so for about $2.00. After rush hour, you can be to the club in about 15 minutes from the center of the city. The place is safe: you get patted down upon entry, and there are always cops working the doors.

Walk in and you’ll see a single stage (with pole) that is flanked by two bars. There is a large sitting area in the middle and two more dimly lit areas on the sides, at the end of the bars. No VIP area, no flirty girls-just a local crowd sitting around either watching the show, getting a table dance, or being led to one of the back rooms for some one on one. This is one of the larger strip clubs in Panama, and like a few of its competitors, it is also a brothel. Don’t go expecting the hottest women in the country, but if you are looking for a good deal and a some local talent (as opposed to a Colombian import), then this is a good place for you.  On a Friday night, there were about 30 girls to choose from, with a tremendous age and body type range.   Entrance is $3.00, which includes two free beers. Table dances are $4.00, and $12.00 gets you ten minutes with most of the girls. The talent is somewhere in the 4-8 range, but don’t expect a chatty flirt or any level of English. Rooms are clean enough but no frills. Again, this is where the Panamanian’s go for their lovin, but you wont get any dirty looks if you are gringo and decide to visit this out-of-the-way strip club.
